STAY CALM
If you experience some sort of dental accident, the best thing you can do is to stay calm. While you may feel inclined to panic due to the pain and stress of an injury, you can take comfort knowing it can be treated, and our team is here to help get you back to a healthy, pain-free smile.
REDUCE BLEEDING
Once you’ve gained control of the situation, take assessment of your injury. If you’re experiencing any bleeding, place a strip of gauze on the site of the injury and apply pressure with your by biting down on the gauze.
CONTROL SWELLING
Over-the-counter medications like ibuprofen or acetaminophen can help to temporarily reduce pain and swelling. However, steer clear of any blood-thinning medications like aspirin. An ice pack or cold compress can be applied to the cheek near the affected area to help reduce pain and inflammation.

When can I start using my membership?
Your membership is effective immediately!
How do I schedule my preventive care?
Simply call our office and set up an appointment for yourself or your family members.!
How can I use my Member Exclusive discount for restorative, elective or cosmetic treatment?
Simply schedule an appointment with our office and be sure to tell us you’re a member. When you arrive, we’ll make sure your membership is “current” and you will be eligible for instant savings off our regular fees.
How do I know if I need Perio membership?
If you’re a current patient, please contact us to confirm you’re on Perio Maintenance. If you are a new patient, we will make a recommendation after your initial exam.
What happens if I miss an appointment?
It will be your responsibility to reschedule. Please see our office policy regarding no-shows and last minute cancellations.
Can I add members to my account?
Absolutely! Your entire family can join.
Can I transfer my membership to another dentist?
Your club membership is solely with our office and as such is non-transferrable. If you move to another area, you may cancel your membership at any time.
How can I check on the status of my account?
Login to your Member Portal and look under Account Members. You’ll see the status of each member above his/her name.
Can I change or update my billing information?
Yes! Simply login to your Member Portal and click “Edit Your Payment Method”.
How do I cancel my membership?
Login to your Member Portal and click the “Remove” button for each member you’d like to cancel.
If I cancel, can I get a refund on my membership?
No. Refunds will not be provided for dues paid under any circumstances, including failure to schedule and maintain appointments.
How much do I pay to sign up for my club membership?
You’ll pay only the Lifetime Activation fee to join. This fee includes your first month’s membership dues.
Can I prepay my membership fees?
Memberships are currently month-to-month only.
What information is required for me to sign up for my club membership?
An email address for receipts, credit or debit card, full name, address, phone and date of birth.

Dr. Bart Samuelson
Dr. Samuelson is originally from South Dakota, graduating from Philip High School in 1989. While staying true to his South Dakota roots and passion for dentistry, Dr. Samuelson attended the University of South Dakota gaining a Dental Hygiene bachelor degree in 1993. While working as a Dental Hygienist in Rapid City, SD, his desire throughout those 7 years to better serve his community while advancing his career led him to applying to the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. With high academic standing and numerous honorary awards, he fulfilled his dream of becoming a Doctor of Dental Surgery from UNMC in 2006. If you aren’t finding Dr. Samuelson treating patients, he is an avid outdoor enthusiast whether it is sunny or snowy. Enjoying such things as hunting, boating, snowmobiling, skiing, attempting to snowboard, and riding his motorcycle around the beautiful black hills. Doctor Bart Samuelson is honored to be a member of the Hamsters USA motorcycle club and loves riding his motorcycle for great causes like Bikers Against Bullies. Even though Dr. Bart is very active, his greatest life accomplishment and continued best adventure is his family. Residing in Spearfish, South Dakota with his beautiful wife, Nicole, oldest son, Ryker (8) and their triplets, Joey, JerZee and Brekken (6).
